Local Chapters

In addition to our Main Office in Albuquerque, ACLU-NM maintains two regional offices: the Southern Office in Las Cruces and the Northern Office in Santa Fe. Both regional offices work to educate local communities about civil liberties and constitutional rights, investigate reports of civil rights violations and work with state and local governments to promote and safeguard constitutional freedoms for the public at large. The Southern Office is also the home of the Regional Center for Border Rights.

ACLU-NM also has three local chapters throughout the state.  If you are concerned about rights violations in your community, please contact the local chapters listed below or the ACLU-NM office nearest to you.
