#EndMassIncarceration Day of Action is our chance to demand changes to the criminal punishment system in New Mexico. We are calling on all people impacted by the legal system, who want to see serious changes, to come together and lift our voices on February 5th at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe.
For too long, New Mexico has viewed public safety through the lens of punishment and incarceration. That approach has failed because it has not made us safer and has decimated New Mexican families. Instead, we are calling on policy makers to make long term investments in New Mexico families and communities - investments we all know will get at the root issues of public safety.
